I went out to check the antique fair in New West yesterday.
I’m looking for an antique phone but didnt find one i like.
Saw some antique clocks…
Got these two campbell soup collectable dolls from 80’s. They were so chubby back then…but getting slimmer and slimmer.

キャンベルスープのお人形さんたち。昔は、太った子供が可愛いと思われていたみたいですね・・・時代を遡っていくと、どんどんチャビ～になっていくのがわかります。Ｗ アンティークって素敵ですよね。一緒に暮らしていて落ち着くし、しっくりくる。どんな人々の手を渡ってきたんだろぅ・・・。

The whole floor is covered with shonen manga.
Second attempt to draw with TRIA markers…i love them even more. Ginger or royal milk-tea coloded cat is my favorite.
オレンジのネコが大好き。次に飼うとしたらオレンジがミルクティー色がいいなぁ～。
I feel fortunate to live in such a beautiful city like Vancouver. Sakura appears most beautiful when the sky is ‘’sky blue”. What a beautiful contrast.
Don’t you think they look like little ladies in pink puffy dress?
Fragile..and short lived…that’s why sakura is precious.
桜は日本でしか見れないと思っている方、実はバンクーバーにはたっくさん桜の木があります。しかも至るところに…。遠くまで桜見に行かなくても、身近に楽しめます。それにしても桜きれい・・・うっとり見とれちゃいます。あ～春ボケになりそう。

庭に咲いてた梅の花。なんだか甘酸っぱい思い出が蘇えります。

Sakura trees around my neighbourhood.
I went to an art supply store in nyc and finally got myself some TRIA’s design makers.
They are not cheap so I got just 2 colors to experiment first… As I was drawing this cat, I was falling in love with these incredible markers!! They make me feel like a designer ~
ＴＲＩＡのデザインマーカーずっと欲しかった・・・んで、やっとゲットしました。
普通のマーカーとは違ってて、重ね塗りもムラなくキレイに仕上がります。
なんかプロのデザイナーに一歩近づけたような気がするのは・・・ただの気のせい？

It’s one of my le petit prince book collection. I always thought that pop-up book was for children but this one can be enjoyed by anyone.
