I ♡ rain but sometimes it’s depressing… I was gazing at the chandelier in my room today and it started to look like rain drops coming down. It’s interesting how our emotion affect on how we capture things we see.

Liberty bakery & cafe on Main St. in Vancouver offers one of the best apple turnover & black bean soup. It’s local people’s favorite cafe.
As most of you may know already, Taylor Hicks is one of the winner from American Idol. Never thought I would see him so close in person. I had a contact with Taylor Hicks & Jay-z (rap singer) yesterday. Suddenly, the world seemed like a small place.

I went to visit a friend in Hokkaidoー北海道 few years ago. He is a potter of Shari-gama (斜里釜) and makes beautiful potteries which i love very much. The picture below is him brewing coffee using his own potteries.
One of my favorite piece of his work is this coffee maker. It makes the coffee taste X100 better. I brewed the MUD coffee (see the previous post)…It was a moment nyc street culture met the jpn culture.
If you ever visit the east village of manhattan NYC, dont forget to grab your coffee @ MUD.
It’s a small coffee shop with really GOOD coffee.
You can bring your laptop and enjoy the coffee & quiet time surrounded by local artists.

Strawberry shortcake is one of my all time favorite recipe. Nothing beats the home-made strawberry cake..
Step 1: Beat eggs and add sugar in.
step 2: Keep beating and beating…and it become like this.
step 3: Add flour
Step 4: Add melted butter
Step 5: Transfer into the cake pan and bake for 20 min in 180℃ pre-heated oven
Step 6: Take the cake out from the pan. Let it cool
Step 7: Slice the cake in the in half, put some whipping cream on bottom layer and line up the strawberries AS MUCH AS YOU CAN
Step 8: After putting some more whipping cream on the SB, put another layer of sponge cake. Then cover the whole cake with whipping cream. Decorate some more strawberries on top.

Strawberry season is here. I got intoxicated with unlimited sweet & juicy strawberries @ U pick. *burp*
苺のシーズンが到来！待ちに待った苺狩りに行ってきました。甘〜くて、ジューシーな苺がいっぱいで幸せ♥でした。食べ過ぎて苺に酔った〜 カゴに取った分より、おなかに入ったほうが多いかも？！前後の体重検査がなくてよかったぁw これからストロベリーたっぷりのショートケーキでも作ろっかな。
